Happy Thanksgiving! “Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus” (1 Thess. 5:18). No matter what circumstances come our way, we have so much to be thankful for in our lives. As we prepare our hearts for this time of year, praise the Lord for who he is and thank God for all His blessings. Our joy, prayers and thankfulness should not rise and fall with our circumstances or feelings. I challenge each one of us to be joyful, pray continually and be thankful. Finally, when we do God’s will, we will find it easier to be joyful and thankful. Amen
